COVID-19 Statement from the Executive Director - March 23, 2021

In March 2020 we found ourselves in unchartered territory as the COVID-19 pandemic hit Canada. Most of us worked from home, while businesses looked for new ways to operate in a lockdown environment.

A year later, we find ourselves in the grip of a COVID-19 variant that is more infectious than the original and puts our people and our hospitals at even more serious risk. While the province’s  promising vaccine distribution continues, we need to act NOW and help stop this dangerous upswing in infections.

New restrictions have been announced by the Saskatchewan Government. Please read the latest Public Health Order for details.

While dine-in service at restaurants will be closed starting Sunday, please continue to support our food and beverage establishments with curbside pickup and take out. They need your business now more than ever. While retail businesses remain open with restrictions in place, you can also take advantage of their online stores.

If you're a Warehouse District business or organization, you'll find helpful supports on our new COVID Resources page.

Let’s all make good choices, continue to get vaccinated when we're eligible, and keep our community on track for a strong recovery later this year.

Take care.
